Get outside for an afternoon at the Chattahoochee Nature Center.  Lean how to go out into the woods with more confidence and preparation.  Our Introduction to Hiking class will teach you what you need to know in order to enjoy many of the hiking trails in our area.  Going for a hike or leisurely walk outside has been proven to provide excellent health benefits.  Our instructor , Mark Gialanella the Community Program Coordinator, will cover some of the basic gear you need to make your hikes more enjoyable, teach you about nearby hiking locations, and show you ways to observe the natural world while out on the trail.  Come prepared to take a casual hike on one of CNC’s nature trails.
