Many cancer treatments can increase the risk for poor bone health. This presentation offers information to cancer patients at risk for osteoporosis, bone fracture, and pain. Bone health is important to your overall health and well-being and avoiding further injury can prevent additional physical and emotional stress. Join us as Dr. Don Beringer, orthopedic surgeon with Arthritis and Total Joint Specialists, and Northside Hospital Cancer Institute Orthopedic Oncology, explores what cancer survivors, people with osteoporosis, and people with bone metastases can do to keep their bones healthy and strong. Participants will receive presentation and educational materials, plus a light lunch.
