Proper posture enables muscles to work efficiently and can help to decrease excess stress on your muscles and joints. There are many benefits to proper posture: it maintains correct alignment of bones and joints, decreases the abnormal wear and tear of joint surfaces, prevents backache and fatigue. In this workshop, Bev Stegman discusses the impact of posture on your overall health and wellness while exploring strategies and exercises that improve posture. This workshop includes a combination of optional light seated and standing movement.
